Frome Christmas Get-Together

The Frome Christmas Get-Together 2022 is returning inside for a sit-down Christmas celebration!

 

For our 12th year of the community Christmas lunch, we are heading back inside for an in-person lunch. The Frome Christmas Get-Together has provided community members both young and old with a chance to celebrate Christmas and enjoy a Christmas meal. With Christmas being a difficult time for so many, we have helped bring some festive cheer, needed company and great food to our town. This year will be no different. With the cost of living crisis impacting our lives and community, for many, this winter and Christmas period will be incredibly hard. We hope our Christmas Get-Together event this year will help make Christmas a special day for many. 

 

We all know that Christmas can be a hard time for some people both young and old, for a whole host of reasons. Like last year, this year will be especially difficult for many people. Our Christmas Day lunch is a festive celebration and a great opportunity for both participants and volunteers to feel part of our community.This year, we are focussing on making our Christmas event a welcoming and inclusive space for our Frome community.

We will be providing a  traditional Christmas lunch for guests from our local community on Christmas Day at  Trinity Church Hall, The Cricket Club and The Key Centre. We will include some festive entertainment and activities for families, individuals and volunteers to collectively take part in. This year, we are focussing on making our Christmas event a welcoming and inclusive space for our Frome community.
